Today was bittersweet as it was Canon Harriss’ last Sunday with us. We marked the occasion with a wonderful service and a celebratory picnic with fabulous food, splendid speeches, marvelous music and fantastic fellowship.
Godspeed Susan- we will miss you!

On Sunday, September 1
1th, we will return to our regular 8 & 10 am worship schedule and will follow the 10am service (Susan’s last) with a Special Celebratory Picnic.
The picnic will feature food, music & wonderful fellowship for all- but we need your help!

Starting this Sunday (June 26) and continuing through Labor Day, to help keep everyone a bit cooler during the hot summer months, Christ’s Church will switch to only one service on Sunday mornings.
Please join us for Rite II Holy Eucharist (with sermon and hymns) at 9:00 am, followed by iced tea and lemonade.
Child care will still be provided all summer long in the nursery.
In light of the numerous tragedies that our community has experienced, there will be an interfaith prayer gathering in the sanctuary of Rye Presbyterian Church on Monday, May 2, at 7pm. We invite you to join us in this time of reflection, prayer, and candle lighting.
The main entrance to the sanctuary, facing Boston Post Road, will be open, and all are welcome.
According to Rev. Rachael Huntley, Rye Pres is gathering people “to acknowledge the multiple drug- and alcohol-related tragedies that our community has been experiencing. All are welcome…young, old, Catholic, Jewish, atheist, parents, students…anyone who wishes to participate in a time of reflection, prayer, and candle lighting.”
This year during Lent, Christ’s Church is again meditating on Matthew 25:35-46 in which Christ told his disciples that when they serve the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, the naked, the sick or the imprisoned they were serving Christ, himself.
